Long Term – Ndevelwa Farm Team Member, Tanzania

We are forming a team who can develop and run a working farm, using it as an agricultural training project to build relationships with local people, sharing the good news of Jesus with the unreached and equipping believers to reach out to those around them with the gospel. The farm will sustain the Kazima Children’s Home while training local villagers in Farm Development. Potential new ventures include meat processing, dairy, livestock or wood cutting.

Location:

Tabora, Tanzania

Experience 

Required: Knowledge and experience of ‘no till’ farming methods. This could be using the ‘Farming God’s Way’ model, or another proven model known to yourself.

Desired: Two years experience on a working farm.

Training & Qualifications Required:

An undergraduate Degree, or other kind of professional certification is required for immigration purposes.

Personal characteristics required:

We are looking for an initiator who is able to drive the development of a project, yet is teachable. You will be willing to adapt to local culture and competent at establishing relationships with local people. You will be a good problem solver, a team player, patient and flexible. You will be willing to live a simple lifestyle that reflects Jesus.
