Long Term – Secondary School Teacher, Uganda
Acacia International School is looking for three secondary teachers. Ideally, the teachers would specialise in teaching either English, French, Mathematics, Physical Education or History. A large part of the role will include discipling students in their knowledge of Christ and actively participating in wider school events. Experience (required & desired):
Required: Experience of teaching French, English, History, Maths or Physical Education at Secondary school / High school level.
Desired: Experience of teaching the G.C.S.E. curriculum; Knowledge and the ability to teach I.G.C.S.E. would be an advantage but not essential.
Training & qualifications:
Required: Fully qualified teacher in one or more subjects. For example you would hold the P.G.C.E. certificate, or similar.
Personal characteristics required:
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Evidence of a strong Christian faith and a desire to communicate that to others.
