BASED IN AFRICA and facilitated by experienced missionaries and national leaders, <\/span>GO<\/strong><\/em> is a discipleship and mission training program that seeks to develop Christ-like character and to instil basic skills for outreach among unreached people groups.\u00a0 All GO<\/strong><\/em> Program teams include three phases: training and orientation, on-the-field experience and mentoring, and a closing debrief\u00a0period that includes lessons learned, preparing for returning home, and consideration of next steps.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

These teams are from 8-10 weeks long and also have a\u00a0\u201cServe Longer\u201d option.\u00a0 Participants can arrange to serve through GO<\/strong><\/em> as a foundation for a longer short-term ministry, serving in any of AIM\u2019s ministry regions for up to eight months after completing their GO<\/strong><\/em> training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants should have an interest in long-term cross-cultural missions work with unreached African people groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who can participate?<\/strong>\u00a0Young adults (College \u2013 20\u2019s).<\/p>\n

What will I do?<\/strong>
This program includes a two week missions training course leading into a five week missions exposure and participation opportunity across multiple locations in East Africa.<\/p>\n

After the initial two week training course, this team will fan out to different locations in Kenya and Tanzania where they\u2019ll serve among an unreached people group with one of AIM\u2019s full-term missionaries.<\/p>\n

Internship options include Church planting and outreach, youth and kids work, and one of our East Africa locations can accommodate nurses and medical students.<\/p>\n

L\u2019objectif est de t\u2019\u00e9quiper de comp\u00e9tences pour partager l\u2019\u00c9vangile aupr\u00e8s de peuples qui n\u2019y ont pas acc\u00e8s et de d\u00e9velopper ton caract\u00e8re semblable \u00e0 celui de Christ.<\/p>\n

Qu’est-ce que je vais faire ? <\/strong>

<\/span>1. Avant le d\u00e9part, dix jours de formation en \u00e9quipe en France ou en Suisse
2. Quatre \u00e0 six semaines de stage (en bin\u00f4me) avec un
missionnaire exp\u00e9riment\u00e9, parmi un peuple qui n\u2019a pas acc\u00e8s
\u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9vangile.
3. Quelques jours de d\u00e9briefing afin d\u2019int\u00e9grer les le\u00e7ons\u00a0<\/span>apprises, de te pr\u00e9parer au retour chez toi et d\u2019envisager les\u00a0<\/span>prochaines \u00e9tapes.<\/p>\n

L’option “Servir plus longtemps”…..<\/strong>
La formation go<\/strong><\/em> peut servir comme fondation \u00e0 une exp\u00e9rience plus longue (jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1 ann\u00e9e), dans n’importe laquelle des r\u00e9gions et des projets o\u00f9 AIM et ses missions partenaires sont engag\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

This program includes a two week missions training course leading into a six week missions exposure and participation opportunity that focuses on teaching English to high school seniors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants should have an interest in long-term work with people from another major world religion and have ESL\/teaching experience and abilities.<\/p>\n
