Once you\u2019ve thought through what the Lord has been revealing to you about yourself, the next step is to look at the changes you want to make. What stands out to you as an area you\u2019d like to develop?<\/p>\n
Often, when we set goals, objectives or \u2018resolutions\u2019 for ourselves, we fail to reach them. This can happen because our ideas are too big, ambitious or vague, or we don\u2019t ask anyone to keep us on track.

As you look at where you hope to go from here, it will be helpful to make sure each goal is \u2018SMART<\/strong>\u2019:<\/span><\/p>\n S<\/span><\/strong>pecific<\/strong> – think about what you want to accomplish, and what for – why is it important to you?<\/span><\/p>\n M<\/span><\/strong>easurable<\/strong> – how will you know when you reach it?<\/span><\/p>\n A<\/span><\/strong>chievable<\/strong> – be sure that the outcome is possible, with God\u2019s help.<\/span><\/p>\n R<\/span><\/strong>elevant<\/strong> – what is most important to you? Do you care enough about it to work hard to achieve it?<\/span><\/p>\n T<\/span><\/strong>ime-based<\/strong> – by when will you achieve what you\u2019re setting out to do?
