Volunteers Needed!<\/p>\n

AIM\u2019s Retirement Center,<\/strong> located on the north shore of Lake Minneola, consists of 80+ retired missionaries who have faithfully served their Lord Jesus at home and abroad for a combined 2500+ years of ministry.\u00a0 The Center began in 1938 when God gave a Christian businessman and his wife the vision to provide housing for furloughing and retiring missionaries coming back from Africa. \u00a0From those early days, the Center has grown to include 49 acres with numerous independent living units, a boarding facility, activities building, workshop and more. These facilities are a true gift from God, but at the same time require a lot of time, effort, and resources to be properly maintained.<\/p>\n

Volunteers of all skill levels<\/strong> are needed in order to continue providing safe, affordable missionary housing in a vibrant Christ-centered community.<\/p>\n

Assistance needed in maintaining and beautifying the Retirement Center property by removing downed limbs and debris, cutting and edging of grass in residential and common areas, weed-whacking and fixing irrigation systems.<\/p>\n

\nDesired Qualifications:<\/strong>\u00a0 Volunteers must be 18+ and preferably have a working knowledge of irrigation systems, mowers and\/or the use of landscaping equipment.
