Home Assignment

Making Home Assignment Plans

As you begin making home assignment plans, here are some particular things it would benefit you to consider:

Informing your Mobilising Region

Your Mobilising Region (MR) needs to know in good time when you are planning your Home Assignment. As soon as you contact your Unit Leader, please also personally inform your MR office. Your Leave Request form will be sent to them too.

Making plans

What plans do you have for: Rest and renewal? Visiting friends and family? Raising support or updating churches and supporters? (Contact your MR for possible resources available to help with this.) Further education? Be prepared to talk to your MR about these plans and how you may be integrated into AIM related events.

Visiting your Mobilising Office

Your Mobilising Region would love for you to visit the office.  It would be a great opportunity for you to reconnect as well as to have a proper debrief. There may also be a Home Assignment conference that you could attend and connect with others who have recently returned.
