Disciple-making and Equipping Among the San People of Northeast Namibia. AIM seeks to develop a multifaceted team to minister to the San community living in and around Tsumkwe, Namibia. The team will focus on disciple making and equipping local Christians to be disciple makers. Team members need to be flexible, in good health, and motivated to live in the challenges which are a daily part of life in this community. The lifestyle will be simple. Learning the local language is essential and very difficult.
Experience & Qualifications
Team members must be strong in building trust and discipleship. Experience in development projects such as literacy, ESL, community health, counseling in alcohol abuse, micro-enterprise, Farming God’s Way or similar agricultural work would be especially helpful.
A Bachelor’s degree or Bible School diploma would be the minimum requirement. Skills in basic house and/or vehicle maintenance would be very helpful.
A strong spiritual life with an emphasis on discipling others.
