‘I got to discover that the Bible is a holy and precious book because it was authored by God.
I personally got to learn that if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you just need to do it once, you don’t need to do it over and over again which I didn’t know before I came’.
Imana attended a Teen Camp in Rwanda, run by AIM. With devotions every evening and daily lessons about the Bible, it’s a chance for campers to learn life-changing gospel truths.
For Imana, camp brought new confidence in the Bible and a clearer understanding of what it means to trust in Jesus.
Faithful teaching matters.
One of the biggest needs in the Rwandan church is for sound theological teaching, and it’s encouraging to see the camps ministry contributing to this.
For Peter, an AIM missionary who was there to see the camp get underway, Imana’s reflections were an answer to prayer. He and his family had been praying that those attending would be receptive to the gospel.
Seeing young people like Imana grow in their understanding of God’s word is an encouraging glimpse of those prayers being answered, as we work together to reach Africa’s unreached for Christ.
