The Bible tells us that the call to mission primarily belongs to the church.

But for a local congregation trying on its own, this can seem a hugely daunting task.

Because taking the gospel to people who have not yet heard is complex. Finding meaningful cross-cultural opportunities, knowing the most appropriate way to get involved overseas, and even knowing where to start can prove challenging.

And yet, we have the words of eternal life.

Sharing them is not an optional extra for the church. Rather, we are called to do so intentionally (and not just in our own backyard…but to the ends of the earth!).

Across Africa, there are more than 350 million people still waiting for someone to take the good news to them. People with little or no opportunity to hear the gospel, many of who may never have meaningful contact with a Christian.

We’re here to help.

AIM exists to help churches take their place in reaching Africa’s unreached.

Through working with your church leadership to develop a global mission strategy, facilitating short-term mission trips, and offering longer-term partnership programs, we can assist your church to step into the Great Commission and work towards seeing lives saved for Christ.

It’s more than a basic connection, and it’s not just newsletters from someone you’ve never met. It’s sending a team. It’s raising someone from your church. It’s learning about cross-cultural mission by pursuing it together.

You don’t need to become instant experts.

AIM brings the experience, relationships, pathways and specialist knowledge to help your church engage wisely and sustainably in cross-cultural mission across Africa.

Along the way, your congregation can experience on-the-ground mission work, use their professional skills to open doors for gospel ministry, grow in faith, and build meaningful connections with gospel work among unreached people groups.

Because mission doesn’t only shape the people who are reached.

It also shapes the church that sends.

The result? People across Africa hearing about the One who saves – and your church growing in its understanding and ownership of mission. Not simply as a good idea or a line item in the budget, but as a vital part of what it means to follow Christ together.
