Long Term – Construction Engineer, South Sudan
AIM’s Central Region are looking for someone to oversee and supervise the design, construction and renovations of houses and other buildings that will facilitate AIM’s ministry in South Sudan. They will also mentor national coworkers, including leading Bible study, and interact positively with church leaders and mission personnel on location.
Location:
Laryok, South Sudan
Experience:
Required: Prior cross-cultural building design and construction supervision.
Desired: Ability to work well with South Sudanese nationals.
Training & qualifications:
Required: College degree.
Desired: Prior experience in cross-cultural construction.
Personal characteristics required:
Strong independence and personal relationship with Jesus to survive in South Sudan’s taxing social/spiritual environment of strong dependency and poor work ethic.
