Hello again,
This is a short email just to let you know what I’m doing. I will fill out some more information once Rado and I are settled in Korr.
Tomorrow morning we will leave Nanyuki on a 7hr drive to Korr. We are currently staying with a missionary family, the Swanepoels, who have been so kind in welcoming us and helping us get to Korr. Grant Swanepoel will be driving Rado and I and helping us get settled as he has lived there with the Rendille for a long time. He assures us the Rendille pastor, David Gargule, is going to take good care of us as he has lots of experience with short-term missionaries visiting the village. Today we got to do a HUGE shop for all our food. At least it seemed huge for someone who’s mum does their shopping… And we’re feeling excited to be venturing into the desert.
Please pray for Rado and I to be abiding in Christ together,
Please pray for our whole GO team as each of the 5 teams settle in to their placements and begin connecting with the Kenyans and Tanzanians in each location.
Please pray for safe travels for us tomorrow and for Grant as he drives back the following day.
