Long Term – Ministry Team Member – Children’s Worker, Kenya

The goal is to train church leaders to do children’s ministry as well as Sunday School teachers.

Major task:

  • Teach pastors and church leaders in the Bible Training Center for Pastors (BTCP)
  • Be involved in either the local schools or local children’s ministry
  • Organise and train for Vacation Bible Schools in African Inland Churches

The children’s worker will be a part of the team that teaches in the BCTP facility to take that training into outlying areas of ministry

Location:

Marsabit, Kenya

Experience:

Required – Experience in teaching and children’s ministries

Desired – Cross cultural experience in Africa working with children

Training and Qualifications:

Required – A college degree and experience in children’s ministry

Desired – Degree in children’s ministry

Personal Characteristics Required:

A person who is flexible and willing to set up a system to teach church leaders to have a children’s ministry in their church and community
