English Teacher at a University in Nampula, Mozambique
The goal of this job is to disciple University Students & other Mozambican Nationals through the offer of the teaching of English
Major tasks:
The major tasks of this job include: Participation in weekly team meeting; intentional relationship building visits to the Campuses; recruitment of would-be English students; Teaching English; Friendship Evangelism with students & if the person has the training, disciplining students to make other disciples
Location:
Nampula, Mozambique
Duration:
3 months – 12 months
Experience Required:
Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL Training) or something very close to it. As well as Teacher Training, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience Desired:
Some experience in teaching English or working on Campus or Student Ministry.
Personal Characteristics Required:
Self-motivation; Strong Initiative; Friendship building, etc
Housing:
A fully functional self-contained one room housing or shared housing with team members if the Short Termer so desires.
