Short Term – Internship with AIM Air, Kenya

This is an internship opportunity for a family unit, or two individuals. The purpose of the internship is to provide exposure to AIM AIR’s flight and maintenance operations, the AIM AIR team, and facilitate an understanding of what life would be like as a missionary pilot/mechanic in East Africa.

Major tasks
Daily responsibilities vary. This is not a production based internship. Rather, it’s an experience based visit, highlighting aspects of AIM AIR and providing avenues to develop an understanding of future long term requirements to thrive as a missionary pilot/mechanic.

AIM AIR recogonises the need for short termers to visit the field prior to committing long term. The average duration from first inquiry to field arrival is 7-10 years. Participation in an internship provides motivation, encourages long term commitment, and offers a better understanding of what life is like serving with AIM AIR. This internship assists AIM AIR recruitment and solidifies our pipeline of incoming families for long term ministry.
